Showcasing new destination on the tourist exhibitions is always a very challenging request. People typically never heard of Monchegorsk before and do not understand how the industrial urban town could stand in the row of familiar tourist destinations. Unlike Arctic Cluster in Taimyr, that we've been working with since 2019, who prefers to amaze expo visitors with something new every year, the strategy for Monchegorsk heads towards using the recognizable design every time with light additions every year. That helps cut the costs and time for production.

For the first time, Murmansk Region let Monchegorsk stand separately and use the back side of their stand and around 10² meters in total. We had painted the whole wall blue and cut the monchegorsk oval in it. There were only two colors used: blue and white. The viking, that represented the Imandra Viking Fest was highlighted with his red shield made of nordic wood.

We've overcame the mistakes of the first sip and have looked way more blue, than the first time. The stand became way larger, we've added short descriptions to the side and had more content to demonstrate. The most notorious change was replacement of Monchegorsk logo with visit-imandra: according to the strategy of tourism, developed by territorii.rf team.

This and the previous one event had been held almost in parallel. So visually both stands were almost identical with small technical changes. It took us less resources and time to design them this way, yet it increased their recognizability on the market.

Feeling blue in our heart, yet with a red blush on our faces, we've made it for the first time in Moscow. One-sixth with an accent on vikingfest red brand, that completed the overview of what Monchegorsk can offer.

After the Imadra Viking Fest won some valuable prizes in tourist industry, we have given it more space and color: around 40/60. Two years since the first encounter, we've evolved in the large blue-reddish spot with more than dozen participants, the hidden meeting room inside and the large closet behind the mighty walls of unforgettable and laconic monchegorian designs.
