Strelka KB is a known Moscow-based consulting company specializing in terms of urban development. They are praised for systematic and modular solutions and like to use world wide best practices that just work. Strelka deals with a huge network of professtionals of all kinds, one of which is Igor Makovsky as an expert in wayfinding. In 2017 Strelka was working under realization of "Complex monotown development" federal program and I had been a part of the team, making a handbook about wayfinding.

Handbook is like a brief summary of all the tons of fragmented information that you could've drown into. Wayfinding itself is a rather narrow part of design, so there're not much literature focusing on it. Principles could be international, yet it was important to include specific russian context.
This handbook was mostly the result of what I came up with after reading and talking to designers, who had been making practical work. In 2017 I had little practice in wayfinding myself, because I was mostly into art, webdev and corporate branding. This was some sort of the entrance exam into the place branding and further practical work that we've been put into with Natalia since.

As you might notice, the density of the content is pleasantly tight. What's most important, is that handbook is not limit to the graphic design only.
